Build your workout. On desktop.

Build it here, then paste the link into Pasta for iPhone.

Try it

Pasta builds your workout when you ask for one.

Made fresh. Ready in seconds.

Pasta’s Today screen over a green glow while you ask: your words, “Thirty minutes, upper body, dumbbells only,” in a bubble over the session’s exercise cards.

01Ask

Say what you want

Hold to talk, or tap to type. “Thirty minutes, upper body, dumbbells only.” You get a full session: exercises, sets, reps and rest. Don’t like the lunges? Say so and Pasta swaps them.

Found a workout on YouTube or on a webpage? Paste the link and Pasta turns it into a session if it can.

Pasta’s Today screen mid-session: the bench press done, a one-arm dumbbell row on its last set with its timer ring, resting, and a live heart rate of 136 bpm, with the rest of the upper-body session below.

03Train

Hands free

Press play and Pasta speaks out every set and rest, so the phone stays in your bag. The timer lives on your Lock Screen, in the Dynamic Island, in a widget and on Apple Watch.

What it says

“One-Arm Dumbbell Row! You’ve got 3 sets of 10 at 30 kilos, with 75 seconds of rest. Set 1. Let’s GO!”

“That’s set 1 of 3! Rest 75 seconds. Your heart rate’s at 136, vigorous zone. Right where you want it! Reset and breathe.”

“Set 3 of 3, 10 reps at 30 kilos. Last one!”

Pairs well with a heart-rate strap. Polar H10, Garmin HRM-Pro Plus, Wahoo TICKR.

Pasta’s Plans screen: an active Pilates plan in week 3 of 39, with a Hyrox build, a tennis plan and Couch to 5K queued up next.

04Plan

The weeks ahead

Tell Pasta what you’re training for. “A half marathon in October.” “A bigger deadlift.” It writes the weeks around the days you can train, starting from weights you’ve actually lifted.

No end date? It keeps going, with a lighter week every fourth. Simmer, don’t boil.

Pasta’s weekly report: a painting of a sprinter over the headline “Your Week”, a score of 88% for the week, 5 of 6 days trained and 142 active minutes.

Every week, a one-page report with your records, resting heart rate, sleep and an estimated VO₂ max. Suitable for framing.

Heart rate

See your heart rate live, then in zones

Your heart rate sits on the exercise you’re doing. Afterwards you see the minutes you spent in each zone, and Insights adds active minutes and training load.

A Pasta workout’s heart-rate card: 139 bpm average, a chart of the session in range bars, and the time in each zone: peak 4 minutes, vigorous 65, moderate 38, light 13.

On your wrist

Apple Watch, a Fitbit, or a strap

The set timer and your heart rate follow you to Apple Watch. Fitbits and other trackers work through Apple Health: what they record there shows up in Pasta. Rather wear a chest strap? Pasta pairs with Bluetooth heart-rate straps.
